About us
Quinta de Santiago is a property located in Penafiel and in the center of the Vinho Verde Demarcated Region, surrounded by wine estates and large green areas. Its name comes from its location on one of the many access routes to the Portuguese Way to Santiago de Compostela (Spain), which has been used since the Middle Ages.
Surroundings
Quinta de Santiago has an area of around 20,000 m2 and is currently used for rural tourism, as a country house, with essentially agricultural and peaceful surroundings, but close enough to the urban centers of Penafiel and Porto for those looking for the normal hustle and bustle of the cities. The house is surrounded by an extensive and well-kept garden, with a swimming pool and tennis court.
Property
The property has 3 bedrooms with double bed, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV and private bathroom. All bedrooms offer superb views of the surrounding countryside and access to the outdoor garden. There is a large living-dining room with a fireplace, TV, air conditioning and access to the terrace and pool. There is a spacious, fully equipped kitchen (stove, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle, juicer and blender).
Common areas
From the first floor you go down to the lower floor, with a large games room with a pool table, card table and chess. It has a double sofa bed and air conditioning. Two large glass doors give access to the outside garden and swimming pool. There are also two full bathrooms, which can be used when relaxing by the pool.
